Why Private Childbirth Education Classes?
Great childbirth education will help prepare you for the experience of birth, and becoming a parent.
Being aware and prepared for your baby’s birth may take away some of the stress and overwhelming feelings that can be associated with this momentous event. You will learn how labor might progress, and how to get and give support during this time.
Just like you would train before running the NYC marathon, birth is an event that is so physically demanding that it is beneficial to physically and mentally “train” for it. Learn how to work with your body, with your care provider, and with the hospital or birth center where you will have your baby.
Relax! Pregnancy and labor can be stress-less!
Private class is amazing for many reasons.
First, you are at home, in your own environment. You have unlimited bathroom breaks, and you won’t miss all the important info. You can eat and drink freely throughout class, not having to wait for hours until break time, you can’t imagine how great this is for a hungry pregnant mother!
The Private classes are tailored to your interests and requirements. While there is a strict and clear curriculum to prepare you for birth, labor & delivery, you can still take a large part in guiding the education to fill in the gaps of what your personal needs are for your family. We can focus on the aspects of labor that might be scary to you, to help make them less so and you and your partner have unlimited opportunities for questions during class time.
